Kayak Rental Requirements:
- A valid Driver’s License
- A properly completed and signed waiver. All participants must sign a waiver and minors (under age 18) must have a guardian sign for them. Waivers are available online and at the boat ramp.
- A credit card in the same name as the ID, to use as a security deposit.
If preparing ahead of time, download and print our Waiver & Release.
- Please leave your valuables at home. DO NOT leave valuables in your vehicle. We will happily hold your keys for you while you are on the water and have dry bags for rent, but are unable to hold any other personal items.
- Bring water or other drinks in non-glass containers, preferably reusable containers.
- Don’t forget the sunscreen. It is best to apply it before you arrive at the boat ramp.
- Dry bags are available for rent for $5. They are good for cell phones, cameras, and small personal items.
- Please drink responsibly, use the provided trash bag, and remember Littering is Trashy! Don’t Mess With Texas Rivers!
RENTAL GUIDELINES
Regular rental rates are by the hour. We collect payment for the first two hours up front, and any extra time is charged upon your return in 30 minute increments.
All participants must review the Safety Rules.
Regular rentals are first come, first served. See the Group Rentals for more information regarding special event reservations.
All ages are welcome, but must be able to swim.
Children under the age of 14 must have a parent / legal guardian sign the rental waiver and have an adult present for the duration of their ride.
Minors ages 14-17 may kayak without a parent being on the water, but must have a parent or legal guardian sign the rental waiver.
